One week and still smoke-free!
I successfully got through the weekend without a cigarette. The first few days — as mentioned in my previous entry — were pretty easy. The mix of the patch and the e-cigarette seemed to work out very, very well. I had a few rough moments over the weekend while consuming alcohol or caffeine, but I pushed through. My Crown7 e-cigarette needs a new battery after a few months of use; it has been a bit weak lately.
In the past week, I’ve even played some tennis with the girlfriend and the 4 year old. My energy levels seem to be much higher already!
Today it seems like I’ve started to develop some kind of cold. My throat is itchy and swallowing is semi-torture. The strange thing is that today has been the hardest day so far in terms of number and severity of the nicotine fits. Perhaps every time I swallow I am reminded of smoking a menthol cigarette and ridiculously believing it helped me feel better.
Anyway: Day 8 coming up! Wish me luck.

Hey,
Great to see more and more people using the e-cigarette to kick the evil weed.
Keep up the good work!!
So far, so good! Thanks for stopping by.
Hey jay, just saw that you’re posting on here again. Hope quitting is still going well for you. Not to sound too lame but I’m proud of how you’ve been able to stick to quitting, and even trying a second time. If you need anything just let me know, I’ll attempt to get my car up there and help in whatever way I can! Love you, miss you-Kelsi
Thumbs up Jason, it is always good to kick out a bad habit. Just think about what you can do for yourself and others with money you will save.
But, if you know somebody who wants to smoke with less nicotine and less tar, let them pop to our site and check some high tech smoking gizmos, like our electronic cigarette starter kits.
all the best!
